ශ්‍රි ලංකාවේ උසස් පෙළ විභාගය සදහා කලා අංශය විෂයන් අතරට තොරතුරු හා  සන්නිවේදන තාක්ෂණය නමින්  වර්තමානයේ දී එක් වී තිබේ. ඔවුන් සදහා ම අපේ ඉඩහසර මෙසේ වෙන් කළ ඇත.

ඔබ අ.පො.ස.(උසස් පෙළ) සඳහා තොරතුරු හා සන්නිවේදන තාක්ෂණය (ICT) විෂය තොරා ගත යුත්තේ ඇයි?

1. අද අපි ජීවත් වන්නේ තොරතුරු තාක්ෂණ යුගයේ වන අතර ICT යනු මෙම යුගයේ බිහිවූ මෙම යුගයේම විෂයක් වන නිසා.
2. උසස් පෙළට විද්‍යා, කලා සහ වානිජ යන විෂය ක්ෂේත්‍රවලට අයත් විෂයන් දෙකක් සමග හැදෑරිය හැකි නිසා.
3. උසස් පෙළට ඉගෙන ගන්නා හොඳම වෘත්තීය විෂය වන නිසා.
4.  පහැදිලි අනාගතයකට උරුමකම් කියන නිසා
5. වැඩි Z-Score පුමාණයක් මෙම විෂය හැදෑරීමෙන් ලබා ගත හැකි නිසා.
6. රජය ‍වැඩි වශයෙන් මෙම විෂය ශ්‍රී ලංකාව තුළ ව්‍යාප්ත කිරීමට අවධානය යොමු කර අනුග්‍රහය දක්වන නිසා.
7. ලොව ඉහලම වටිනාකමක් ඇති තොරතුරු තාක්ෂණ උපාධියක් ‍කරා ලඟාවිය හැකි නිසා.
8. ලොව සුපරිතම රැකියා අවස්ථා විශාල ප්‍රමාණයක් මෙම විෂය ක්ෂේත්‍රය මත ගොඩ නැගී ඇති නිසා.
9. තොරතුරු තාක්ෂණ දැනුමින් සන්නද්ධ වූ අභිමානවත් පුරවැසිවැසියෙකු ලෙස ‍ජීවත් විය හැකි නිසා.
10. උසස් පෙළ සමත් වීමෙන්ම පමණක් රජයේ හා පෞද්ගලික අංශයේ විවිධ වෘත්තීය පාඨමාලා වෙත පහසුවෙන් යොමු වී රැකියා අවස්ථා උදාකර ගත හැකි නිසා.
11. දේශීය හා විදේශීය රාජ්‍ය හා පෞද්ගලික අංශ වල රැකියා සෘජු හා වක්‍ර රැකියා අති විශාල ප්‍රමාණයක් ඇති නිසා.
12. අනාතගයේදී අනිවාර්යයෙන්ම තව තවත් රැකියා අවස්ථා මෙම ක්ෂේත්‍රයෙන් බිහිවන නිසා.
13. වෙනත් රැකියාවකට යාමේදී ප්‍රධාන අමතර සුදුසකමක් වන නිසා.
14. වෙනත් වෘත්තියකදී වුවද මෙම දැනුම වෘත්තියේ උන්නතියට ‍හා සුරක්ෂිත බවට හේතු වන නිසා.
15. වෙනත් විෂය හැදෑරීමේදී ඊට අදාළ පහසුකම් සළසන නිසා.
16. සියළුම විෂයන්ගේ උප විෂයක් බවට පත්ව ඇති නිසා.
17. ලොව ඉහලම ලාභ උපයන හොඳම කර්මාන්තය මෘදුකාංග කර්මාන්තය වන නිසා.
18. ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ආර්ථික සංවර්ධනයට පුරවැසියන් වැඩි ප්‍රතිශතයක් තුළ මෙම දැනුම අනිවාර්යයයෙන්ම තිබිය යුතු නිසා.
19. ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ආර්ථික සංවර්ධනයට සෘජුව දායක විය හැකි නිසා.
20. සාඩම්බර ශ්‍රී ලාංකික පුරවැසියෙකු ලෙස ජීවත් විය හැකි නිසා.
